CAR RENTAL
A car rental is included for the lenght of stay and is based on your type of accommodation:
Hotel room: Full-size 4-Door (upgrade to mini-van when 5 people or more share the same accomodation)
2 Bedroom Condo/Home or larger: Mini-Van (when 4 or more adults share)

All rentals are based on a 24-hour schedule. (For example, for a 7-day rental, if you pick up your car at 11:00 am on day 1, it must be returned on or before 11:00 am on day 8).
Please note that if your return flight is leaving at a later time than the return time of your car, or, if there are any changes to your flight schedule, you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred if you return your car later than the time of day at which you picked it up.
Did you know you are responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle, regardless of fault? Hertz will waive your responsibility from CDN$ 60 per week when you purchase Loss Damage Waiver (LDW).

Auto insurance in the U.S.A.
If LDW is declined, renter is responsible to Hertz for any damage to the vehicle. Gold cards or insurance riders may reimburse you after the fact, but do not remove your responsibility. Third party liability insurance is for minimum coverage and is secondary to your own car insurance. Additional liability insurance is recommended if you do not own a car.
Hertz Rental Information
Minimum Age: 20 years. Drivers under 25 years subject to surcharge of US$ 15.00 per day for car classes A-G and US$ 25.00 per day for all other car classes except Prestige Vehicles (Minimum age for Prestige Vehicles is 25 years). • Additional Drivers: US$ 13.00 per day with a maximum charge of US$ 91.00 per person per rental. Minimum age for additional drivers is 25 years. • Driver Requirements: A valid driving license, the return airline ticket and the car voucher must be presented at the rental location. • Refuelling Policy: Renter is provided with a full tank of gas. At the rental counter, three refuelling options are available: Fuel Purchase Option, Fuel and Service Charge and Self-Fueling. • Customer Deposit: A credit card in the renter’s name is required. Hertz will no longer take cash deposit.
Hertz insurances/Local charges
LDW (Loss Damage Waiver): From US$ 28.99 per day depending on car category. • LIS (Liability Insurance Supplement): US$ 12.44 per day ($1,000,000 3rd party liability). • Airport Fee: Amount will vary depending on arrival location. Please call us for more details. • Florida state and local tax: 6.5 % on total and US$ 6.02 per day additional surtax on all Florida rentals. Vehicle Licensing Recovery Fee of US$ 2.46 per day will apply. Rates do not include any Airport or Government imposed or authorized taxes, surcharges and fees wich may apply. • Neverlost: US$ 12.99 per day. • Drop charges One Way Rentals: There are no drop charges for one way rentals within the State of Florida for classes B, C, D, F, G, I, R, L, Q4, L4 and U. One way rentals must be booked in advance. • Child Seat Rentals: US$ 12.00 per day or US$ 84.00 per week. Must be requested at time of booking. The replacement charge of the seat is US$ 84.00.
