Children Conditions: Children under 2 years stay and eat free. Childrens age must be specified on the rooming list. Children sleep in existing bedding and must share the room with two (2) full paying adults in order to receive the discount. If one adult is travelling with one child, the child will be considered an adult. If an adult is travelling with 2 children, the 1st child will be invoiced as an adult and the 2nd pays child rates.

Minimum Age Condition: At least one person of 21 years or older in every room during March and April. In this period the Hotel reserves the right of admission and therefore may not admit any room in which all guest are younger than 21 years. This situation can have serious consequences and should be avoided at all costs. the remainder of the year at least one person of 18 years or older in every room. No Student groups under 21 years or spring breakers are accepted all year round.

We are pleased to announce that the Riu Varadero will be available to our guest effective Nov 25/10!!!

RIU Varadero will open with 630 rooms including the Royal Section (closest to the beach) fully operational.

The South Section (furthest from beach) only will be undergoing light construction and will not be open until further notice. We have been assured by RIU Resorts the clients will not be disturbed or affected during their stay and all services as described below will be provided in the true RIU style.

The following services / facilities will be accessible to the clients as of Nov 25/10:

• 630 rooms

• 1 buffet

• 5 a la carte restaurants choices will be available on a rotational basis (Italian & Creole Restaurants will be closed however service will be offered in another restaurant)

• 1 snack bar

• 6 bars including 1 swim out bar

(ARCC 646) Please be advised that guest flying into the Juan Gualberto Gomez International Airport in Varadero and staying at the hotels in Havana will experience a transfer time of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel on day of arrival. On the departure day the transfer pick-up will be 4 to 4.5 hours prior to scheduled flying time to ensure guests arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check-in for return flights home. Time onboard the bus will be 2 to 2.5 hours and approximately 2 hours extra time at the airport. EBB MAY BE APPLICABLE, PLEASE CHECK FOR DUE DATES.

All passengers visiting are required to pay CUC$25 cash departure tax locally when departing the country. This is not included in the cost of your holiday.
